Week 15

This week I analyzed some of the work that some of my teammates did, I was looking on how to improve their work, especially Claire's. The Thread Look somewhat I envisioned earlier last week but there could be some slight improvements to the details. I was looking for other resources to implement styling on the overall guide.

This is when a user clicks on a thread, the design of it could be improved on further.

Vishwa showcased to us on different kind of styles we could use for our website, I really like the work on Meet Mac by Mackenzie Child. But the other issue was that, It was done in webflow, but it requires some subscription in order to export all the subscription, so I delved into another alternative.

I really loved this nes-style css framework which somehows gives you a nostalgic vibe. Also I could curate some of the styles like the buttons, containers, logo and font-style.

This are some of the progress that is made below.

The issue with the translation api, that is was unnoticeable at first. So I decided to create a penguin dancing around the button and also change text after a while.

The Font-Style made it look somewhat cool and retro, but it feels subconsciously really blank?

Some of the re-work I did was creating a category button at the right side of the page, as well as styling of the threads to make it consistent.

The Events Page required more editing for me so the text and images don't overflow and overlap each other.

To make sure that it appears simple to log in, I reduced the content in the login section.

I considered changing the picture and making the text even simpler.

In order to make everything look consistent overall, I would follow up with my teammates to get their opinions on the updates I designed for their website and to repeat some styling.
