I showcase the idea of how an exercise guide would work for our website, but also how would the tutorials work and user is able to gain points.
Profile Settings
This image above shows on how it would definitely look like for the user profile page where the user it able to update their email, password and name.
Another addition is the earning of points where user can redeem useful prizes relating to the elderly context.
I also had a conversation with Vishwa during which I immediately put some of his ideas for the staff design into practice. Although I believe there could have been a few small adjustments, it is still pretty good overall.
This is a mock-up showing what an employee would see upon logging in and having the ability to add or remove apps, as well as design with Quill in the future.
Once the user has created the app's name and category, they are taken to this page where they can modify the content, add links, images, and text styling, as well as add a table of contents for the created guide.
Start of Revamping of Website
This is the homepage, where I inputted the Buttons to the middle of the page, to direct them instead of the previous design which was not great.
This is where I created the list of application that can be searched by filtering the buttons ontop or just by searching it, and I think this took roughly a few hours to create it. Despite my previous design, I felt that this was simpler to understand. This was later re-worked by Vishwa to make it connected to the firebase and dynamic so that new guides would be added immediately.
I decided to redesign the Forums because I felt they needed a more dynamic design to be more useful, and this is essentially how I see it now.
Reflection
I wish I had more time to finish the current designs by next week, aside from working on other assignments. On some days, I didn't feel all that great and was generally feeling low. As there wasn't much work, it moved rather slowly. I also could probably use the mock-up design I made to improve the home-pages of the website further.
