Week 12

This week was essentially the first day of 2024, as my teammates and I were talking about how to improve our project going forward, since it clearly didn't go well for the hackathon. We hope to perform better than previously for our current work, even though there were times when we had to deal with challenges and time constraints.

What do we actually have to do now?

We decided to carefully plan ahead on what to do for the next week ahead by figuring out what roles are we planning to assign again.

A Big Leap of Faith

To be honest, I was pretty convincing when I said that I wanted to work on both the front end and the back end, but doing so would mean that I would have less work to assign to my teammates.

I therefore made the deliberate decision to serve as our website's front-end designer.

Huge Changes?

It would undoubtedly take some time to transfer all of our data from a simple HTML file with numerous scripts to a model view controller written in C# and Asp.net.

It is important that I show my team my designs and carefully consider their comments and ideas for enhancements.

This was definitely rushed with little planning because my teammates and I were preoccupied with other assignments that had deadlines of the end of the first week of 2024. However, we will be concentrating on data integration soon.

Reflection

Despite our challenges, I think there is still room for our group to shine. However, we will continue to strive for success in the coming weeks by adopting a safer strategy. When faced with criticism, we recognize that what makes us successful is our ability to learn from our mistakes.

Creating an environment where each of our teammates feels appreciated for their significant contribution and is encouraged to give it their all is our goal. Our goal is to become winners, which will be determined by our ability to adapt and persevere rather than by the lack of obstacles.
